Historic cottage with all modern conveniences and private hot tub. Stables for 2 horses and close to some of the best horse riding in Cornwall.
We are 15 minutes drive from the iconic Cornwall horse riding beach at Marazion overlooking St Michael’s mount. Yet we are tucked away on a peaceful small holding with amazing views, quiet tree lined bridleways and lots more friendly animals to meet.
the space
The luxury property was completed to the highest environmental standards. It has ground source underfloor heating, solar power and a 7kW EV charger. This makes for a very cosy stay even in the depths of winter.
We have also tried our best to make sure you can really enjoy the space with a log burner, 50 inch TV, Bluetooth Speakers, Satellite Internet, Coffee facilities and a very comfy sofa.
And of course the private hot tub. There are not many places where after experiencing some of the best horse riding in Cornwall you can bubble away whilst giving your horse a carrot !
There are lots of animals here, including barn owls, tawny owls, buzzards, swallows and Canada geese flying across the land. You can help collect eggs and meet our ponies and pygmy goats in the adjacent fields and of course bring other family members safe in the knowledge your children or dogs are well secure in the garden.

In the summer season you are in a bubble here. Just 15 minutes away from some of the busiest places in Cornwall, like St Michael’s Mount and St Ives, yet here and in the lands of the neighbouring Godolphin Estate with some of the best horse riding in Cornwall you would not even be aware of the hustle and bustle of a busy Cornish summer.
For exploring some of the other great Cornwall horse riding we are centrally located to access a wide range of beaches and moorland rides. You can explore the North, South and West coast with many amazing locations to explore within a short drive.
Other things to note
The property has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has a triple bunk (double and single above). The lounge has a large comfy corner sofa which could be slept on but is a light room with the velux windows. If you need extra bedding for the sofa please let us know as we are happy to provide it.
The wider area has some great shared spaces you can also explore as our land borders the upper reaches of the River Hayle so you can do some yoga on the river bank or toast marshmallows in the fire pit. There is a hammock area by the river (during the summer) where you can paddle in the river.
If you are bringing a horse to explore some of the best horse riding in Cornwall. It is pretty relaxed here. We can offer stabling and hay as well as plenty of grazing and of course lots of tips on the best places to ride.
